On Sept. 9, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium invites you to view a selection of imaginative, inspiring, and award-winning films presented in partnership with the International Ocean Film Festival. Two show times are available (matinee & evening) for this family-friendly event. Cost: $12 for Mote Member tickets and $15 for non-member tickets.
Be inspired by the work of these award-winning filmmakers as you immerse yourself in vibrant images and creative storytelling. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the showing, and concessions will be available for purchase. Both showings take place in the WAVE Center attached to Mote Aquarium, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota, Florida.

It’s FREE! Come try out paddling with no strings attached — if you’re ages 14 and older, there’s a seat in the boat for you!
The NBP Paddling Program uses dragon boats, outrigger canoes, and more. Whether you’re interested in recreational paddling or you want to be competitive, we have a place for you — and NBP wants to continue building breast cancer survivors, all-cancer-survivors, and NBP Veterans dragon boat teams.
NBP provides life jackets and paddles, so bring your sense of adventure and teamwork! You’ll start with on-land training, proper fit of a personal flotation device and paddle, and then get an on-the-water orientation.
Tickets aren’t needed, but they do ask that you RSVP!
