Zoo is What's On

If you haven’t made the drive to this beautiful nationally accredited zoo right here on the Suncoast, you have been missing out. This zoo lies among a tropical garden with plants first bedded here in 1919. The zoo is home to lions, giraffes, monkeys, and so many other wonders of the wild you can spend all day navigating over a mile of trails and exploring the wonders of these amazing animals. Did you know the zoo planted nearly 25,000 trees a year in Africa, Asia, and the Americas – this conservation-focused zoo cares as much for flora and fauna as the furry and slimy friends. Social distancing, mask-wearing in public indoor areas, and limited seating precautions are all in place to make your experience memorable – so check it out!
