The Beer and Winemaker’s Pantry is a family-owned and operated home-brew shop serving Pinellas and surrounding counties since 1973. They carry a full line of the finest and freshest ingredients needed to make your own wine, beer, cider, soda, kombucha, and vinegar-making products.
Winemaking classes are held most Saturdays at 4 PM and will educate you on all the equipment needed, ingredient options, and the process of making your own wine. The cost is $20.00 and includes four wine and one port tastings, light snacks, and your choice of a bottle of wine to take home with you. Reservations are required. They can also host your private group class from 8-12 attendees; call to schedule. Additionally, The Bear and Wine Maker’s Pantry offers “Brew-On-Premise,” where you make your wine or cider right here at the winery with their assistance. Make your own handcrafted wine custom-designed labels for as little as $4.00- $10.00 per bottle. Each order makes 25-32 bottles. Please stop by to chat with them and enjoy a complimentary sample or two (must be 21 to sample).

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is a museum dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. Currently, they have amazing exhibits such as Noelle Mason’s X-ray Vision vs. Invisibility with images from border patrol, vigilantes, and commercial security x-ray pictures. A unique modern-day twist on society and political views on immigration, refugees, and other topics. This exhibit is sure to inspire a different look at these topics. Additionally, Bremmer Benedict’s Hidden water, Desert Springs, and Uncertain Future exhibit and Jeff Whetstone’s Batture Ritual.
