Pizza on Suncoast

Super Sardo’s Pizza

Super Sardo’s Pizza
10839 Ulmerton Rd., Largo, FL 33778

Santo Sardo, a second-generation family entrepreneur, who was “literally born on a flour sack,” began learning about Italian cuisine at the age of 5 in the family pizzeria. He came to Florida with his family in 1979 when he was 15 & worked in pizzerias; they operated in Seminole until returning to Brooklyn for a new restaurant in 1991. When back on the Suncoast in 1995, he opened a Brooklyn-style neighborhood pizzeria in the old Seminole Mall food court. In 2007, Santo purchased a building in Largo on Ulmerton Road, which is now his permanent home. Having had multiple stores at once, he realizes he can not delegate; he has to touch everything… so we only have one location now.

You can taste the attention to detail in every bite you take from this restaurant. From wonderful Italian appetizers to fantastic salad options, and on to hot/cold sandwiches to the amazing entrees, there is sure to be something for everyone in this gem of a restaurant. Stop on by soon to find your next favorite comfort food, for lunch or a great dinner out.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday/Saturday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Lamoraga on Suncoast

Lamoraga

Lamoraga
3936 Tamiami Trl N, Naples, FL 34103-3506

On April 14th, 2014, Lamoraga Naples opened its doors for business here on the Suncoast and is looking to continue to satisfy customers of all realms of life for many years to come.

The idea of Lamoraga started not too long ago in Andalusia, the Spanish region that covers most of the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula. The region’s history dates back many 1000s of years. From the Romans, North African Tribes, such as the Moors, to the British and the French, you notice the social influences in the Andalusian cuisine. The mixture of cultures, a great coastline along the Mediterranean Sea, and the indigenous foods of this region offer complex and very unique flavors to its cuisine.

There, a handful of chefs decided to create a contemporary lifestyle restaurant where one can enjoy recipes that are the essence not only of Spanish but of international gastronomic culture. Lamoraga was born, with its Andalusian roots loosely translates to: The Barbeque on the beach.

Hours: Monday through Saturday, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
