Nature’s Food Patch was founded in 1987 by Mr. Amort after being diagnosed with cancer. He decided to fight the cancer by living a macrobiotic lifestyle. With his desire and passion in wanting to help others improve their health, he decided to buy and refurbish the Clearwater Community Co-op (est. 1976)… and The Patch was born! For 35 years, his enthusiastic support for the natural foods movement lives on. His children preserve his legacy by continuing to inspire our community through knowledge and providing better nutrition for a healthier lifestyle. In 2018, The Patch expanded their community and opened a second location in Downtown Dunedin! Featuring the cafe, grab-and-go along with catering and deli specials, you can’t go wrong stopping in after a long day at the beach for a healthy pick me up.

Venice Theatre
Venice Theatre
140 Tampa Ave. W. Venice, Fl. 34285
When the then-Venice Little Theatre mounted its first production in the 1950s, it did so in a borrowed building, had no paid staff, operated entirely with volunteers, and its only revenue came from sales of the $2 tickets. Today, Venice Theatre is, per capita, the largest community theatre in the United States with an operating budget of almost four million dollars, a professional staff, and an honored place in the history of Venice, Florida. This coming weekend would be the perfect opportunity to check out this amazing theatre. This Little Light of Mine, starring Syreeta Banks, is playing on the 24th and 25th of July. Syreeta sings some of her favorite songs that have helped foster growth, healing, and encouragement during her life’s journey. Songs that speak on love, faith, fame, and shining one’s light into the world and not being afraid to shine! Additional shows and events can be found on the website. Check out an amazing production soon!
