2023 Uptown Music Festival

2023 Uptown Music Festival

The Uptown Music Festival was created to bring the Uptown District of Tampa, FL together to highlight the rich culture of the area through music. This one-day event will draw Tampa residents and surrounding cities to the Uptown District for a day of music and art. With over 20,000 residents living in unincorporated Hillsborough County, and major institutions such as the University of South Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center, Advent Health, and Uptown Mall (University Mall) the festival is quickly becoming one of the premier cultural events in the area.

This outdoor event, held in the beautiful University Area Park 14013 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, FL 33613 will be a fun and relaxing evening for the whole family to enjoy. Reserved seating and General Admission is available.

The Annual Hibiscus Festival here on the Suncoast is three days of celebrating and sharing the unique history and character of Punta Gorda and its connection to the hibiscus, as well as to one of the world’s most renowned hybridizers, Harry R. Goulding. Punta Gorda is historically known as the City of Hibiscus.

The festival features sweet and savory food vendors, live music, flowers and plants, arts and crafts, and most of all: fun!

This year’s festival will begin with the traditional kick-off on Friday evening. The Friday evening concert runs 6–10 pm, so come enjoy music under the stars. Please feel free to bring a chair or blanket. Come back Saturday and Sunday to listen to the music, eat great food, shop treasures of all kinds, the Vintage Motor Car Club Car Show, and enjoy the atmosphere and the Lil’ Miss Hibiscus Pageant.

Hours: May 5th, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., May 7th, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., May 8th, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
