Cortez lost a fabulous woman several years ago, Nancy Franklin. She worked at Swordfish Grill and everyone who knew her loved her. She had a big, giving heart and her favorite local charity was The Blessing Bags Project because they care about people that slip through the cracks. This weekend enjoy an amazing round of golf and other goodies while supporting an amazing cause at the Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. It’s the perfect season for golf, and always an amazing time when helping those less fortunate in our community.

This unique restaurant here in Sarasota is actually situated inside of four train cars. Talk about a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience here on the Suncoast; check this one out. They feature fare from salads to hotdogs and a fabulous Sunday Brunch. Make this a regular stop on your tours of the Suncoast or a special event. Bob Horne is a visionary here on the Suncoast with a long-time love of trains and continues to help restore other historic train cars. The cars for this restaurant train cars are from the Ringling Circus originally. The walls of the cars have amazing pictures onboard for diners to take in during eating. This is definitely a fun, educational, and wonderful stop you must see here on the Suncoast.
