“Party for the Planet” at the Florida aquarium is planned in partnership with numerous other organizations. The Association of Zoos and Aquarium (AZA) for a celebration inclusive of Earth Day, Endangered Species Day, and World Oceans Day! One of the amazing opportunities we have here on the Suncoast is the myriad of ecological events, animals of various species, and other learning opportunities unique to our region. There are various virtual and in-person opportunities the aquarium is hosting to help celebrate our environment, planned as part of the Party for the Planet. One of the truly special things about the Suncoast is the amount of simply sublime dining options. One such treat in the beautiful city of Naples is the Riverwalk Restaurant. The Parks & Recreation Department of North Port is hosting a Kids to Parks Day and other vendors will be simultaneously hosting a North Port Newcomer Day this coming Saturday. Newer residents and others visiting this Suncoast city are invited to attend this event to see what’s happening in North Port. The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the George Mullen Activity Center at 1602 Kramer Way in North Port, featuring goodie bags, lawn games, contests, and much more for all those attending. There will be many city businesses and the Kids to Parks program through the National Park Trust, encouraging children and families to get out to local, state, and national parks. Come by and visit the event to find out all the amazing people, businesses, and events happening in North Port.

There are some social distancing, CDC guidelines that must be followed for the safety of all attendees so be sure and check them out before heading out for the event. Definitely check this musical treat out, for a night in some of the prettiest scenery here on the Suncoast of Nathan Benderson Park punctuated with a fun performance to liven up your weekend.
