India Fest on the Suncoast is back for the first time in FIVE years! The cultural celebration is hosted by The India Association of Ft. Myers (“IAFM”) on April 6 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Caloosa Sound Amphitheater.
At this outdoor event, IAFM will provide the local community with an opportunity to be exposed to all things Indian, including food, dance, music, vendors, and clothing from the various regions within India. Attendees will enjoy an unobstructed and shaded view of the performances, as ample covered seating will be provided at Caloosa Sound Amphitheater.
Doors open at 11 a.m., with entertainment beginning at 12 p.m. Entertainment will include DJ Khush, local dance groups, and three fashion shows all emceed by Shari Armstrong from Fox 4. The grand finale will include Holi Color Play at 4 p.m., where attendees throw colored powder in the traditional celebration of Spring’s onset.
The event will also include local vendors and food from Nirala Sweets & Restaurant, Minerva Indian Restaurant, Aroma Indian Cuisine, and The Indian Grocery Store of Fort Myers.
