For half a century, artists and art lovers from all parts of the country migrated annually to the Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, where the country’s most accomplished artists and rising stars vie for the $15,000 Raymond James Best of Show Award and an additional $72,000 in prize money.
The March 2022 Festival will showcase artists and their work to include ceramic, digital, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor, and wood. This event will also feature the works of local young artists and a weekend full of live entertainment.

From October through May, 9 am–2 pm, the Downtown Bradenton Public Market hosts more than 40 vendors who offer locally grown produce, the work of local artists and craftspeople, live music, interactive experiences, and more. Parking is free on weekends, and dogs on leashes are welcome. The organization also hosts Mainly Art, where local artists and craftspeople display and sell their creations. Southeastern Guide Dogs Walkathon

Bring your family, dogs, your friends, and bring your friends’ dogs to the Suncoast Walkathon at Nathan Benderson Park on March 5, 2022. This free, family-friendly event includes a 3K walk and a Waggin’ Tails Festival with music, food, vendors, and an exciting raffle drawing. Walkathon is Southeastern Guide Dogs’ largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds help the organization breed, raise, train, and match our amazing dogs with people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges such as vision loss or the loss of a parent in the military. Gates will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 5 and the walking gets underway at 10 a.m. See you there!
