2023 Sarasota Film Festival

Held annually in Sarasota, FL, The Sarasota Film Festival emphasizes the best in cinema alongside exciting programs and events. More than 200 films are screened each year, including features, documentaries, shorts, and kid-friendly picks.

The festival is set to open on Saturday, March 25, with a screening of Dawn Porter’s CIRQUE DU SOLEIL: WITHOUT A NET at The Circus Arts Conservatory in Sarasota, with a reception to follow. The film offers a behind-the-scenes look into “O,” Cirque’s flagship production, on its journey back after the COVID-19 pandemic. The world-famous production will also celebrate its grand 25th anniversary later this year, solidifying the show’s remarkable success.

There is a host of additional short films, documentary entries, and so many stars impacted by this year’s event you don’t want to miss it. See all the elements that make this a tradition here on the Suncoast for film lovers of all ages.

RoboNation is an open community of students, industry leaders, and mentors that live, breathe and invent for the technological and engineering world. RoboBoat 2023 is an event of RoboNation and an international competition that invites participants to tackle simplified versions of challenges facing the modern maritime industry. These challenges may include coastal surveillance, port security, oceanographic exploration, and cooperative behavior between systems operating in different domains (air and sea). Come on out and see all the amazing inventions by some of the most inventive ideas in robotics at Nathan Benderson right here on the Suncoast.
