ZooTampa at Lowry Park is set to unveil “Dinos Unearthed,” a limited-time event starting on February 7, 2025. Visitors will have the opportunity to step back in time and encounter 14 larger-than-life animatronic dinosaurs, ranging from formidable predators to gentle giants. This immersive experience is included with regular Zoo admission or membership. Zoo members are granted exclusive early access during preview hours from February 7 through February 9, between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

The exhibit will feature a variety of dinosaurs, including:

• Allosaurus: Standing 15 feet tall and 31 feet long, known for its powerful arms and sharp, curved claws.
• Brachiosaurus: One of the tallest dinosaurs, reaching up to 50 feet in height and 98 feet in length, notable for its wide-set nostrils atop its head.
• Tyrannosaurus Rex: Standing between 12 to 20 feet tall and up to 41 feet long, equipped with sharp, serrated teeth ideal for catching and shredding prey.

Each display is designed to provide educational insights into these prehistoric creatures, offering guests a chance to learn about their habitats, behaviors, and unique characteristics.

Held on the second Thursday of each month from 6 PM to 9 PM in Downtown Wellen Park, the market features a rotating lineup of vendors, ensuring a unique experience with each visit. Attendees can explore a diverse array of handcrafted goods, enjoy live music, and savor specialty food items under the twinkling lights along Wellen Park Boulevard. The inaugural market in July 2024 attracted over 1,100 people and featured 40 vendors, with subsequent events expanding to 50 vendors due to popular demand.
