Each year, the Downtown Venice Art Festival transforms West Venice Avenue into a creative haven, with over 100 renowned artists exhibiting work across mediums such as photography, jewelry, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and more. This vibrant festival invites art lovers and collectors to connect with artists, view exceptional pieces, and even commission custom artwork, adding to the rich tapestry of Venice’s unique charm.

Across the nation, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to ending this disease. Because, like flowers, our participants don’t stop when something’s in their way. They keep raising funds and awareness for a breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Event begins at 8 a.m. and walk begins at 9 a.m.

Roboticon on Suncoast

FIRST Robotics Competition here on the Suncoast teams will play their previous season’s game, Cresccndo, at ROBOTICON! In FIRST Robotics Competition, high school-level teams compete to build robots weighing up to 120 lbs to play a different game each season. The game teams will be playing at ROBOTICON is explained on the ROBOTICON Games page. Teams from around Florida will convene Nov. 2 and 3 in this high-energy competition to see who can take home the ROBOTICON Champions banner!

This is the last event in the ROBOTICON rotation of robotics and drone competitions and marks the end of ROBOTICON 2024.  ROBOTICON is produced by the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation, with support from the Florida High Tech Corridor, AMRoC Fab Lab, PLUGHITZ Live, Scoutlier, and other fine organizations.

The event is free and open to the public!
