The breakfast at Burgundy Square Cafe here on the Suncoast the selection includes 10 different types of omelets (served with home fries and available with only egg whites). French toast, wraps, quiche, grits, pancakes and much more.

The lunch menu is a familiar American bistro with some emphasis on New England fare. This is a reliable place to get an authentic lobster roll, which means tender and sweet Maine lobster chunks mixed with a tiny bit of mayonnaise and served in a split-top bun that has been lightly buttered and grilled on the sides.

The dinner options also offer whole-belly Maine clams (a rarity in these parts), haddock, fish and chips, seafood scampi, and a fried seafood platter with haddock, scallops, and clams. Leaving New England, there’s “Grandma’s” recipe for meatloaf, veal Parmesan, veggie stir-fry, broiled salmon, eight different burgers, several wraps, and salads such as Caesar, Asian or Santa Fe.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., Saturday 8 a.m. – 8 a.m., Sunday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

For 3 full days, Tampa’s downtown Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park here on the Suncoast will be transformed into the city’s largest waterfront beer garden. Soak in the sprawling downtown views and beautiful sunsets as the park buzzes with live music, dancing, alphorns, dirndls, lederhosen – and, of course, beer!

A variety of beers, from traditional German Pils to multiple Oktoberfest märzens and Hefeweizen, will all also be available. Additionally, Red and white wine, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and other refreshments will also be available.

Festival goers are encouraged to participate in the wide range of custom-crafted Outrageous Bavarian Games that foster fun challenges to win cool prizes and, more importantly, bragging rights. Oktoberfest Games are free to play. Saturday afternoon is jam-packed with some of our biggest competitions. The Beard and Mustache competition is one of the biggest in the region, and the Mr. & Mrs. Oktoberfest is completely unique from any other challenge we’ve seen. Hoist your stein with us and watch one of Tampa’s most engaging personal competitions available throughout the year!
