Osteria Celli

Osteria Celli
15880 Summerlin Rd, Unit 308 Fort Myers, FL 33908

In Italy, an “osteria” is a local eatery, a bit less formal than a “ristorante,” where the focus is on simple but delicious food and wine. Menu items at Osteria Celli here on the Suncoast are prepared fresh daily and made using the best quality local ingredients. At Osteria Celli, they maintain relationships with local farmers and purveyors while importing some of the essential items from Italy.

The entire staff of Osteria Celli honors the Italian culinary tradition of making their own pasta, sauces, and desserts. Their focus and commitment is to freshness, and they have a deep respect for every ingredient that goes into our dishes. Stop by for dinner to see what a difference the amazing ingredients can make in every dish you taste.

Myakka State Park

Night Hike at Myakka State Park

Night Hike at Myakka State Park
Canopy Walk @ Myakka State Park, Sarasota, FL 34241,

Join us on a Night Hike in Myakka River State Park! The weather will be perfect; the moon will be high in the sky while we hike 5 miles through the wilderness.

This 5-mile loop hike will take you through several of Florida’s diverse ecosystems, such as pine flat woods, prairies, and hardwood hammocks. The sun will be setting, so we will be looking and listening to the marvelous sights and sounds of dusk in the woods! Birds returning home to roost, crickets and frogs croaking and chirping, mystery animals calling in the distance. This will be a hike for all the senses, not just sight, so we will walk quietly. We will take a leisurely pace but avoid stopping so that the mosquitoes remain a minor nuisance. This is a back-country trail that has some uneven terrain and narrow paths.

The cost of the guided hike is $25.00/ person.

Hours: Friday, January 12, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
