Cast Net Repair Class At Florida Maritime Museum

If you’re tired of buying a new net every time yours is damaged, consider taking this class. You will need to bring your own cast net (other supplies will be provided) and you will need to register and pre-pay the $45 fee. Register and pay here.

Hibiscus Festival

This is the last of a 3 day festival with Music of Peg and Em at 2pm on the Hunger Bus Stage. They are a singer/songwriter duo that will entertain you as you check out the beautiful flowers. There is a $1 admission fee. There will be other musicians throughout the day. They have lots of plants for sale, not just hibiscus, and food vendors to serve you. You can also enjoy the downtown businesses while there.

Taco Tuesday Fundraiser

Come enjoy Steve Arvey’s Hump Day Blues Buffet! Mac Arnold has played with legends such as James Brown and Eric Clapton. He was part of The Muddy Waters Band before he formed his band Soul Invaders. He’s been playing R&B most of his life and was inducted into the Alabama Blues Hall of Fame in 2017. Get your tickets early!

This is one of three annual sales at the Gardens. They are having a huge sale on native succulent plants plus there will be artists there to interact with. Orchid expert Helen Pausenwein will give an in-depth presentation at 11am on the north lawn.
