If you’ve never been to Mixon’s (or it’s been a long time) this is your perfect opportunity! This happens twice a year. When you get there, you receive a passport that you take around the store. Whenever you sample one of the goodies at the various stations, you’ll have your passport stamped. The completed passports go into a box and drawings are held at 3pm to win prizes. There’s lots to see …and taste at Mixon’s!

This festival (Holi) is celebrated every spring in India. India Artisans recommends that you come to this event dressed in white! You will dance to the Bollywood beat and smear colors on people! This is FREE and open to everyone. The schedule includes Indian Classical Dance, Fashion Show, Yoga, Interactive Dandia. There will be food vendors and others, including Henna Tattoo by Kamrun Nahar.

For kids 6-10. You need to reserve a spot for your child to learn all about the water cycle and ecosystems. He/she will need to bring a bathing suit! Use email (deso_interpretive_staff@nps.gov) or phone (941-792-0458) to reserve your spot!
