Classic Movie: “Mr. Smith goes to Washington” (1939)

Starring Jimmy Stewart who becomes an idealistic U.S. Senator. The film is introduced by Gus Mollasis who will lead a Q&A after the movie. Snacks, beverages and Film Festival Merchandise will be available. Ticket are $10 + fees ($5 for members & Students) and are available online or at the door.

Holidays Around the World

This is their Grand Opening and will happen the next two Sundays as well as this one. Children’s Activities hours are 2-5pm and include cookie decorating, shell paining, rock painting, ornament making and clay crafting. Admission is $8 per family or $3 individual adult. You will see beautifully decorated homes as you stroll. Food trucks, performances and displays will be available!

Holiday Splendor for Toys for Tots

Free admission with a new unwrapped toy! Come and enjoy Holiday music and performances by local elementary, middle and high schools on the Museum of Art Courtyard and Bolger Campiello. You can also check out the Ca’ d’Zan, Museum of Art, and the Tibbals Learning Center. Food and drink available for purchase until 8pm.

This band is the #1 working tribute to the Beatles in Florida! You will have so much fun dancing to the Beatles songs done right by this band. They wear authentic costumes and sing and play just like The Beatles! Plus get the great food from Stottlemyer’s! This promises to be a fun and entertaining evening!

This event is sponsored by Palmetto Historical Commission and Manatee County Agricultural Museum, Inc. So many things to do! A snow hill to slide down, kids’ crafts, contests, and Santa at 4pm! Food and drink vendors on hand as well as Alex’s Lemonade Stand raising funds for children’s cancer research. Come on down!
