Sarasota Winter Fine Art Festival
Sarasota, FL

Come on down to Gulfstream Ave where there will be loads of tents with art vendors; local, regional, and national. The is the 7th Annual Festival and will be held for 2 days, Saturday and Sunday, January 12-13. The Humane Society will be there with their “Big Mac” mobile adoption center. Click here for more info

The Great Mr. Swindle’s Traveling Peculiarium & Drink-Ory Garden
Englewood, FL

This looks like it will be so much fun! Their FB page says it goes until Jan 20. There are live acrobats, comedy, and great family fun! They suggest you come an hour early to check out Dr. Elixir’s Drink-Ory Garden (included in ticket price) which serves beer, wine, other beverages, food and snacks. There’s entertainment there, too!

Sarasota Winter Carnival & Bazaar

The Mall at University Town Center 140 University Town Center Drive Sarasota, FL 34243
This festival is from Thursday, January 17- Monday, January 21. There will be carnival rides, games, local artisans, an Amateur Chili Cook-Off, and a Beard Contest! Thursday & Friday times: 5-10pm ($25 unlimited rides). Saturday & Sunday times: 11am-10pm ($30 unlimited rides). Monday time:10am-8pm ($30 unlimited rides). This is family-friendly and there’s free parking and admission. More info on event here

12th Annual Sarasota Native American Indian Festival
10am – 5pm
Sarasota Fairgrounds 3000 Ringling Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34237
The guest artist is flutist Robert Mirabal from Taos Pueblo, New Mexico. The Red Boys will host drum, Anthony Aleman on the didgeridoo. There will be authentic art and bead work, traditional dancing. Of course, there will be storytelling! Tickets are: adult $8, child 6-12 $4, under 5 free.They will be there Saturday (10am-6pm) and Sunday (10am-5pm), too! More info on event here

Decades Rewind
