You can listen to Cigar Box music and you can even buy one from one of the vendors at this cool festival. Steve Arvey, Kristine Jackson, Dovydas, and Joe Bruno and Friends will thrill and delight you with their Cigar Box music. They will tell you all about how they’re made and how to play them, too. And the food at Stottlemyer’s is amazing! Free event and family friendly!

Springfest Fine Arts & Fine Crafts Festival

You can catch this Saturday or today with Free Admission and parking. This is the 32nd Annual Festival and a major fund raiser for the Anna Maria Island Art League. You’ll see art from across the U.S. at this juried show as well as exhibitions from some community organizations. Ed Straight of Wildlife, Inc. Education & Rehabilitation Center will be there to answer questions about wildlife-related issues. Raffle tickets will be sold to win artwork from the exhibitors.

Family friendly fun! National Association of Safe Crab Racing At Bars, otherwise known as NASCRAB, was started by Greg Koeper who is now a manager at The Swordfish. Grego will bring out the crabs for racing at 7pm on his specially made table, but you should get there early to pick your winning crab out of the pack! The cost is $1 and the winner takes it all! Come early to enjoy a fantastic dinner and listen to the music from T.C. and cheer on the crabs!
