If being kind is so simple then why is it not second nature. This holiday, focus to work on being a little more kind to yourself and others. Past experiences of hurts, loss and disappointment can alter our natural instinct to practice kindness. It takes intention and strength to regain the feelings that we once knew and had. How to be kind:
Be genuine. Practice kindness and generosity toward others. Being out of practice, being shy, or not knowing how to reach out to others can only be overcome in the doing. Continually try until it becomes a natural impulse to be kind and giving to others. Ask for nothing and appreciate everything. The greatest kindness expects nothing, comes with no strings attached, and places no conditions on anything done or said.
