I Left My Heart In San Francisco: The Song That Was Almost Forgotten

Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Boasts Hottest Season on Record

Pumpkin-spiced everything and half-empty candy bowls prompt us to put away the Halloween decorations, leaving behind harvest items and cornucopias to ring in Thanksgiving.  We all know after that, it’s a mad dash to the finish line for Christmas and New Year’s.  This can be overwhelming so it’s time to remind ourselves to soak up the coming moments with family and friends.

Musician and sometime actor Chris Isaak came to Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Thursday, April 28 on one of his tour stops in support of his new album “First Comes the Night”. Chris had one of the last major hits of the 1980’s with “Wicked Game” having both radio and MTV success in 1989. He performed it at this show with the same haunting style combined a brilliant low lavender lighting. The song has been covered by many artists over the years including recently by rocker Chris Daughtry.
