Open House At Island Players Theatre On Anna Maria Island, FL

Here is your chance to see how the magic happens! We invite you to come tour the theatre. You will see all of backstage: props area, dressing rooms, green room, make-up room, kitchen, and construction/shop areas. You will also tour the sound/light booth and box office.

We want you to come see how the plays come together, and we also want to encourage you to be a part of this amazing group of characters! You will be treated to our popular fresh popcorn and champagne punch! You will also meet some of the wonderful directors from this season’s productions. 

There are many volunteer positions available for you to consider, from helping from your own home to coming out several times a week to the theatre. One big group of volunteers is The Off Stage Ladies. They are ushers, costumers, some even are actors! They help with so many things and enjoy social activities as well. They are instrumental at fund raising and provide the theatre with upgrades that are so important for bringing a professional show to the public.

You don’t have to be a member of The Offstage Ladies to be a volunteer. You can help as much or as little as you like. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to come learn about our neighborhood theatre and where you fit in it! Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything behind the scenes at a theatre before. We need you!
