VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN CAMPAIGNS IN SARASOTA!

Air Force 2 arrived at the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with the Vice President from a two city stop in Florida. On the campaign trail for the Clinton/Kaine ticket, the VP made a stop in Orlando before arriving in the SRQ.

Hosting the event was the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex on 34th St. Among the dignitaries speaking were Reverend Nancy Wilson of Metropolitan Community Churches, Barbara Ford-Coates, Tax Collector and Senator Bill Nelson.

Sarasota County Commissioner Fredd Atkins introduced the Vice President to an enthusiastic crowd. Mr. Biden spoke for approximately 45 minutes and then worked the room, talking to voters, taking selfies and shaking hands. There is one week left to register to vote! If you haven’t done it, DO IT!
