Still Looking to Get Your COVID-19 Vaccine in Sarasota-Bradenton?

The wonderful team at HEALTHY TEENS Coalition of Manatee County, Inc. has provided the following information. Still, looking to get your COVID-19 vaccine? Know someone who still needs theirs?

Check out one of these vaccination locations:

  • Get your Johnson & Johnson vaccination!
  • Johnson & Johnson vaccine does not require a second dose.
    • 5/14 from 12 – 3 PM at Turning Points Medical Clinic, Bradenton. First-come-first-served basis. Eligibility: Florida residents 16+ with state photo ID OR Turning Points ID card
    • 5/14 from 5 – 7 PM at The Salvation Army on 10th Street in Sarasota. First-come-first-served basis. Participants who receive the vaccination will be eligible to receive a $20 Publix gift card. Eligibility: 18+ with valid photo ID. Must also be a client of the Salvation Army Sarasota and the Resurrection House.
  • Get your 1st dose!
    • 5/15 from 10 AM until all Moderna vaccines are used at Oneco United Methodist Church, Bradenton. Eligibility: Must be 18+.
  • Get your 2nd dose!
    • 5/20 from 3 – 5 PM at The Salvation Army on 14th St in Bradenton. Eligibility: Must be 18+ and already have received your 1st dose of Moderna (vaccination card must be presented). *Meals will be served outside.
  • For our homebound seniors:
    • Florida is bringing COVID-19 vaccinations to homebound seniors. To register for a vaccine and for more information, email: homeboundvaccine@em.myflorida.com
    • Residents can also contact the state’s COVID-19 Call Center at 866.779.6121 for assistance.

About “Healthy Teens” from their website:  The Healthy Teens Coalition (HTC) of Manatee County is dedicated to reducing behaviors by providing Manatee County youth with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices about their physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being.

It is comprised of a grassroots group of over 180 individuals representing more than 60 nonprofit social service agencies, community-based health providers, the Manatee County School District, Manatee County Government, and faith-based entities.

The HTC engages young people, parents, community leaders, and policymakers. The Coalition aims to ensure that Manatee County’s youth have access to the tools, education, and information that will equip them to make healthy, informed decisions, leading to a positive future.
