Santa Spreads Love At The Swordfish Grill and Tiki In Cortez, Florida

| Sande Caplin |

Close to 70 kids left the Swordfish Grill and Tiki in Cortez, Florida today with huge smiles on their faces.  Santa arrived by boat to deliver presents to local homeless and less fortunate kids in our area.

The Blessing Bags Projects mission is to provide necessities to our local families in need.  Betsy Plante, President and co-founder explained that “there is huge need to help these families”.  Gifts were donated by generous residents and the Swordfish Grill and Tiki also hosted a breakfast for the kids and the parents, grandparents and loved ones.  Local entertainer, Tanya Mccormic sang beautiful Christmas songs!

The team at the Swordfish Grill and Tiki lead by General Manager, Bob Slicker donated their time to make sure every kid had a special day.  I cannot say enough about the love that was shared and generated today.   The ladies and gents of the Swordfish are a special and awesome team and deserve a big “Congratulations”!
