Oh What a Night! Celebrating the Expansion of 88 Live Bradenton
Last night was incredibly special at 88 Live Bradenton. It was a celebration of their expansion and their 4th anniversary! It was a sold-out event with 2 of the areas favorite bands performing. The Billy Rice Band opened the show, followed by 22N. The dance floor was rocking, the crowd was smiling, and the atmosphere was electric.
It was a bitter-sweet moment to watch Billy, and the band performed their final event of the season. They played every Thursday night at 88 during the season. Billy and I have been friends for a long time. We have done hundreds of shows together, did 2 music videos together and over the years he has introduced me and played with some of the top performers in the world. Next season for Billy? Well, you never know and I ain’t sayin. “I’m Just Sayin’!!
22N put on an electrifying performance. From the moment they started playing to the very last song, the dance floor was absolutely packed. They brought smiles to everyone’s faces and as always they looked like they were having a great time. Congratulations to Kristen and David and the entire band for exciting the crowd.

Sherry, Scott, and John are 3 of the nicest folks that you ever want to meet. They go out of their way to make their customers happy and never stop trying to improve the place. It’s an honor to call them my friends. You have built the most exciting, vibrant and successful indoor music facility in our area. Love to you and I wish you continued success.
I had the opportunity to watch the construction from day one and oh my, it is breathtaking what has been done. The stage has been moved; the VIP tables have been moved to the other side and were raised with steps and railings. A deluxe VIP section has been added that can hold 21 people! There is a bigger dance floor and more tables. And a new 3 stall ladies bathroom has been added.
And there is more! A beautiful red bar side stage has been added with the piano keys. The other huge addition are two private karaoke rooms, the Rick and Roll, and the Hollywood room! Both are soundproof and I believe the first of their kind in the Bradenton area. Oh, the new air conditioning system keeps the place at perfect temperature!
How blessed we all are to have such a wonderful indoor facility that brings in top bands from around the country. And don’t forget Saturday Bingo. It’s a hoot! As the months go by football season will be here before you know it. You can catch your favorite college and NFL team every weekend and of course with so many big screen tv’s come out during the week for baseball, basketball, soccer, and hockey. Oh, one more thing! Great Pizza…..
