Michael and Janie…2 Very Special People!

It’s 4am and I can’t sleep!  I just had to share the amazing experience I had last night at Ace’s Lounge in Bradenton, FL.  I am not going to share anything about the interview…..that will come in a week or so, and that will be presented by Laurie Mirkin, writer extraordinaire!    I just wanted to say that after meeting Michael Allman and his very significant other Janie Durbin, I walked away with a feeling of complete satisfaction. 

Immediately, and I mean immediately both Michael and Janie made Laurie Mirkin and myself feel like best friends.  Michael shared it all…..his life, his family, his famous dad, Greg Allman, the time he spent living on Anna Maria Island and a real lot more.  Janie Durbin hugged and squeezed Laurie….in a way that you could just feel the love.  I know that Laurie “felt the love.”

Thank you Michael and Janie…..2 special folks who made Laurie and I feel very special.  I know that the “Laurie Story” will be a little long and very deep.  A lot was said in the interview.  We’ll let you know when the story is coming out!  Oh, the Michael Allman Band put on a performance last night that was absolutely awesome.  Ace’s was rocking.  Thank you again, Michael and Janie.
