Help Slicker’s Eatery in Cortez, Florida After Hurricane Helene

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, dropped off items, helped clean up, or generously donated. Your Venmo donations have made it possible for us to continue this work. We have been overwhelmed by your support and kindness.

We’ll be honest, we’ve all lost a lot. Cortez and AMI have a long way to go. Water was up to waist height+ throughout the entire restaurant, we lost all appliances, walls are torn out, supplies are ruined, minnows are currently still swimming in our parking lot. But we have each other and that is everything.

As you can imagine, we don’t have a timeline yet. But we do know that we are resilient people who love this community deeply. So, while we’re digging our way through this mess, we thank you for any bit of help.
