Five South Florida Hooters Girls Selected to Compete in Miss Hooters 2021 Virtual Pageant

Five Hooters Girls from Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Sarasota and Weston earned a spot to compete in the Miss Hooters 2021 Virtual Pageant.  The local Hooters Girls who will be competing are Gianna Tulio, Boca Raton (Miss Boca Raton), Jenise Lebron, Fort Lauderdale (Miss Fort Lauderdale), Heather Widle, Weston (Miss Weston), Uniqua Shantell Burch, Doral  (Miss Miami) and Sloan Miavitz, Sarasota (Miss Sarasota).

Fans can vote for their favorite contestant online starting Tuesday, June 29th at 10 a.m. through Wednesday, July 7th at the website. Voters can use the dropdown menu to find contestants by first name and locate their picture.  In addition to the fan vote, each contestant will also go through a formal interview with THE Original Hooters Girl, Lynne Austin, and be scored based on their answers, personality and representation of the brand.  The fan voting score combined with interview scores will determine the Top 20.  The Top 20 contestants will compete live in Orlando for the Title of Miss Hooters 2021 and a cash prize of $30,000 on Thursday, July 29th.  There are a total of 80 contestants in the virtual pageant. 


Gianna Tulio, Miss Boca Raton (Hooters of Boca Raton)

Gianna Tulio who resides in Delray Beach has been working at the Boca Raton Hooters for four years.  In her spare time, Tulio loves traveling and getting to explore the different parts of the world and spending time with friends and family.  “Being selected to represent LTP as Miss Boca Raton will always be an honor to me and will always feel unreal that I was one of five selected. Being chosen is a good reminder to me that all my hard work, dedication and passion towards the company do not go unnoticed. I look forward to meeting all the other girls that have been selected and to share the same passion as them. I know that whoever wins this pageant, will make the most wonderful difference and will only have positivity coming for the company since they never fail to select the most amazing hard driven women,” said Tulio.  This is her second time being selected to represent South Florida Hooters. 

Sloan Miavitz, Miss Sarasota (Hooters of Sarasota)

Miavitz lives in Sarasota and has worked at Hooters for three years. She was born and raised in Sarasota.  She loves to read and has a green thumb and enjoys fun in the sun and spending time with family and friends.  “Being selected for Miss Hooters International is an opportunity I’ve dreamed of. I live my life by the quote “Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Taken”. I aspire to be a role model for young girls and motivate them to believe in who they are and what they stand for; anything is possible through hard work and dedication. A sisterhood intertwined through orange threads is what I most look forward to, a powerful group of women joined together encouraging each other to believe not only in ourselves but our dreams, achieve the impossible and never stop reaching for the stars,” said Miavitz.

Heather Widle, Miss Weston (Hooters of Weston)

Widle has worked at Hooters for 17 years and isproudly representing the newest South Florida Hooters location. She has a passion for cooking and grew up in the Davie-Cooper City area.  One of her favorite parts about working for Hooters is being involved in the community. “I’m extremely honored and grateful to be representing Weston Hooters. Hooters has been a big influence on me and helped me evolve into the woman I am today. What an incredible honor, I’m looking forward to making new memories, new friends, new experiences and hopefully being the best role model I can be,” said Widle. Widle is the first Miss Weston Hooters.

Jenise Lebron, Miss Fort Lauderdale (Hooters of Cypress Creek)

Lebron lives in Deerfield Beach and has worked at the Hooters of Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale for 11.5 years.  Lebron is a former NFL and NHL Cheerleader, wife, mom and first generation entrepreneur.  “Over the last 11.5 years I’ve got to witness four of our LTP girls take home the title as Miss Hooters International. I’ve dreamt of the moment I would be asked to compete and this year, my dreams have finally come true despite having the huge obstacle of bouncing back and regaining my confidence from having my first child. It means the world to me to be able to compete and show all of those around me that you are truly capable of anything you put your mind to.  I look forward to the overall process of the pageant and getting to know girls from all over. I am beyond honored to be a contestant and represent LTP in the 2021 Miss Hooters International Pageant,” said Lebron.  

Uniqua Shantell Burch, Miss Miami (Hooters of Doral)

Burch lives in Miami and has worked at Hooters of Doral for nine years. Burch is a big Harry Potter fan. A true Gryffindor.  She enjoys traveling and has been all over the world and has found bits and pieces of the woman she is today in every city she has visited. “To me, Hooters means family, and I am truly honored to have been selected to represent our community. I am looking forward to expanding my family and hopefully inspiring present and future generations of young goal-oriented women to join us,” said Burch.  

All five of the contestants are also involved in numerous charitable outreach events through South Florida Hooters including children’s hospital visits and breast cancer awareness initiatives.
