Blues Lovers Unite In Sarasota

The 3rd year has proven to be the charm.  The Suncoast Blues Festival has moved to the back of the Sarasota Fair Grounds and the setting was perfect!  A fantastic crowd came out last night and heard great music, had delicious food and drink and shopped for awesome merchandise from unique vendors.

The Balkun Brothers, Kat Riggins Band and the Chris Duarte Band provided the music with a live jam to close the show.  There was so much love at the festival and everyone had a great time.  The crowd was buzzing all night!  Picnic tables, plenty of room to spread out….a fun atmosphere!

The Festival continues today, Saturday, January 28 starting at noon.  Tickets are $30. at the gate.  Gates open at 11am.  Today’s performers include Dwayne Dopsie, Charles Wilson, Tommy Z, Studebaker John, Annika Chambers and the headliner, Selwyn Birchwood goes on at 7pm followed by a “jam” to close the show.
