An Important Message from the Team at the Swordfish Grill & Tiki

Last November, our Swordfish family and local community faced an unimaginable loss. Our beloved bartender, Sara, was tragically killed by a drunk driver. Sara was so much more than a coworker, she was family. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter touched every person who walked through our doors.
Sara left behind her two young daughters, Charlee and Nova, whose lives were changed forever in that moment. In the days and months since, so many of you have shown love and support for these sweet girls, helping us keep Sara’s memory alive and ensuring her daughters know they are not alone.
Now, nearly a year later, we invite you to join us as we come together again for a very special evening in their honor. On Monday, October 20th, Swordfish Grill & Tiki will host “Giving Back: A Night for Charlee & Nova.”
This benefit is dedicated to raising funds for Charlee and Nova’s Florida 529 Education Fund, helping build a bright and secure future for them. The night will include:
Live music by Kettle of Fish with special guest Tim “TC” Chandler
A silent auction and raffle
Food and drinks by Swordfish Grill & Tiki
100% of ticket sales for the Giving Back event, auction items, and donations will go directly to Charlee and Nova’s 529 Education Fund.
Tickets are $100, and every dollar raised goes toward supporting these girls in the years ahead.
We hope you will join us, not just to celebrate Sara’s memory, but to surround her daughters with the love and strength of this community. Together, we can turn heartbreak into hope.
