Allegiant Airlines Will Be Flying From SRQ to Austin Texas!
Big news for Austin, Texas fans! Allegiant Airlines has announced that they will be flying nonstop, year-round service effective April 14, 2022. There will be twice weekly flights and introductory flights are as low as $49.00 each way for a limited time and availability.
Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport has been growing in leaps and bounds. There are now fifty-three destinations from the airport and 11 airlines.
And there is more big news about SRQ Airport. This year they are improving and expanding the concessions inside the terminal, work will be started on a new ground transportation facility, and we’ve been told that there are plans for a new ground-level terminal that will include five or more new gates for arrivals & departures.
The airport is also looking for help. Positions are available for a full-time Firefighter, two openings for full-time Floor Maintenance Technicians, a Horticultural Specialist, Mechanic, Property Leasing Assistant, Technical Support Specialist (3), and an IT System Tech. You can apply online HERE.
