17th Annual Dick Vitale Gala SOLD OUT

The V Foundation for Cancer Research announced today that tickets to the 17th Annual Dick Vitale Gala have officially SOLD OUT with a waiting list available.

“Once again, we are excited to announce that our Gala is Sold Out. All I can simply say is…. Thank You to All that have joined our team by supporting our quest to help kids battling cancer” says Dick Vitale. “We are on track to achieve our goal of raising $7 million this year bringing the total raised over the past 17 years to $50 million!”

The Dick Vitale Gala will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, Florida. The event has been one of the signature charity events in Sarasota drawing over 850 attendees from all over the country to support the mission to fund pediatric cancer research through the V Foundation.

The Gala will honor Baylor University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Scott Drew, Hall of Fame Tennis Legend and ESPN Tennis Analyst Chris Evert, and former NFL Superstar and ESPN TV and Radio Host Keyshawn Johnson. In addition, ESPN College Football Analyst Rod Gilmore will receive the V Foundation John Saunders Courage Award.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, legendary North Carolina State basketball coach and ESPN commentator.
