Thunder By The Bay a Huge Success in Sarasota

Thunder By The Bay’s relocation to the Sarasota Fairgrounds, $5 gate admission, and a date change to mid-February proved to be very successful this year raising over $180,000 for Suncoast Charities for Children. This is the most money the event has ever raised for the charity which supports five local non-profit agencies in Sarasota County (Children First, The Florida Center, Loveland Center, The Haven, and Sarasota County Special Olympics).

Bradenton Based “The Blessing Bags Project” Welcomes Sande Caplin To Their Board of Directors

Betsy Plante, President of The Blessing Bags Project (story on sarasotapost.com), was first introduced to Sande through a mutual friend, Bob Slicker. Sande was a guest at their Breakfast with Santa Kids Christmas Party and was impressed by what he saw. TSO rolled into Tampa’s Amalie Arena with their 20 tractor-trailers of stage gear to bring their annual Christmas rock show to the masses! Two stages, lights and lasers, power vocalists, rock star guitarists and let’s not forget the orchestra! The 2018 tour is The Ghosts of Christmas Past and the Best of TSO. This was a sold-out show at 3:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday!
