2016 has been a fabulous year for The Sarasota Post and Sande Caplin and Associates. We would like to thank the entire community for your support. A special thanks to the companies listed below who gave us the privilege to work with them this year.
This Veteran’s Day, as our country was honoring our veterans in myriad ways, Billy Rice and Sande Caplin joined together in patriotism, camaraderie and creativity to support The Wounded Warriors Project.
Friday, August 24, 2013…..there was a lot of entertainment going on in the Sarasota – Bradenton area. So much, that I certainly can’t list them all in this article! That is why Don McKeon’s GoTonite.com is such a great website. You can get “all” of the entertainment in our area at their website. Many of you know Mark Kracker. I met Mark several years ago at the Flying Dog Cafe. He is truly a great guy! The “Associates” (Sande Caplin & Associates) went out on the town last night! Mark Kracker, photographer extraordinaire helped me with organizing the night’s events. Mark has joined our team and you can see his awesome photos on several of our websites, including the Swordfish Grill, Faith Presbyterian Church, Dial Hope, Lauren Mitchell Band, Kettle of Fish and more.
The Swordfish Grill announced today that their new website went live. The high tech website URL is www.swordfishgrillcortez.com. The site was built and developed by Sande Caplin and Associates, a Sarasota based company. The Swordfish Grill is located at 4528 119th Street West in Cortez, FL. For Anna Maria Island residents, the Swordfish Grill is just a short ride over the bridge!
While hanging at the Jam each week at the Flying Dog Café, Sande Caplin and I did a number of interviews with various musicians and interesting characters that were regulars at the Dog. One of my distinct favorites was my interview with Rebecca Bird, a.k.a The Songbird. So as we were setting up the camera and the lights, I began to get to know Rebecca and I was taken with her soft personality, her Marilyn Monroe-type sex appeal and with her love of her Dad, whom she spoke about so passionately. When people like Rebecca are up onstage you don’t really wonder about their backgrounds because you’re so caught up in the performance, but she did let go of some intimate details of her life.
IBE- International Barter Exchange by Sande Caplin
If you’re a business on Florida’s “Suncoast,” you need to know more about “IBE.” Barter saves cash, increases profits, and decreases the cost of doing business. There are over 800 businesses in our area that use barter and the International Barter Exchange.
What are the goals of every business? Increase your sales by driving more customers to your business. Another important factor is to decrease the costs involved in doing business. By doing both, your business will be much more profitable.
What is the easiest way to increase revenue and decrease costs? Start bartering through the International Barter Exchange, the goods and services you currently have. By bartering, you can buy the goods and services you need WITHOUT SPENDING CASH. That’s right, without spending cash.
