With four-years as a successful online ladies apparel store under its belt, locally owned and operated Bows and Arrows Boutique will open the company’s first brick and mortar location this Saturday. Located in the the Market at UTC, the store’s grand opening event will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Single-day Tickets Now Available for the 2017 World Rowing Championships

With 113 days until Nathan Benderson Park welcomes 1,700 elite rowers from around the world, the 2017 World Rowing Championships Host Committee announced today that single-day tickets are now available for purchase. The announcement came during an event at The Mall at University Town Center (UTC) in Sarasota County, Florida. Since September 23rd of last year, only multi-day packages have been available for General Admission, Grandstand seating, Beach Seats and the Pavilion. 

Bo Bice talks Blood, Sweat and Tears, Life after Idol and Gregg Allman

Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival runs every year from March through Memorial Day Weekend! Part of the festival includes the “Garden Rocks Concert Series”. Different national acts every weekend. Blood Sweat and Tears with Bo Bice were performing on the weekend of our visit. Bo has gone through many changes since his Idol days. Gone is the long hair.

Who is Sarasota Sally?

 

Her real name is Vivian Kehrer, but to most she’s known as Sarasota Sally. If she’s not dining at the dozen or more restaurants she helps to promote, she’s posting about restaurants on FB or going to the next locally owned restaurant to see if she can help them. And when she’s not doing that, she’s organizing food events or promoting celebrities like Mrs. Florida.  

YO! Sushi ‐ The Mall at University Town Center

YO! Sushi is a popular eatery in The Mall at University Town Center. UTC is known for having upscale restaurants, and although YO! Sushi is one of the smaller storefronts, its flavors are big. YO! Sushi is nestled in the center of the mall on the ground floor and is most noticeable because of its conveyor belts. Launching its first restaurant in 1997, YO! Sushi brought the conveyor belt sushi, kaiten sushi in Japanese, internationally to London. Since then, it has opened more than 90 restaurants all over the globe with only 2 in Florida.
