Venice Performing Arts Center Presents “Decades Rewind” on January 19th

Take a journey back in time with Decades Rewind. Disco, Funk, Rock, Motown, and all the hits of the 60’s, 70’s, & 80’s take center stage in this theatrical music production. Come celebrate the hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s, the most prominent decades in music history. Featuring over 60 songs, 100 costume changes and nostalgic video. From Aretha to Zeppelin, Decades Rewind will have you singing and dancing in the aisles.

The show is phenomenal. Some of us from the Sarasota Post saw the show last year at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and we loved it. We’re going back to see the show on January 19th and hope to see many of our friends there.

The cast features some very special folks from our area: Peter Gatti (co-founder, producer and keyboardist), and Mark Blinkhorn (co-founder and drummer), Lisa Larkin (she not only sings but does some great acting), guitarists Al Owen and Jimmy DeLisi, and our good friend, Leo Binetti, on bass with so many more wonderful talented musicians and actors from across the country.
