The Main Street Station Band
A Great 60’s, 70’s & 80’s Band!
Florida’s Gulf Coast is truly blessed to have one of the great bands in the area that plays 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music. If you haven’t heard the “The Main Street Station Band,” you should. Last night, they put on a truly inspiring performance at Mannatees Sports Grill in Bradenton, FL. There were lot’s of “baby boomers” out there last night who were smiling, dancing and enjoying the fabulous music. Mannatees Sports Grill menu offers something for everyone and they have a great selection of beer, wine and top shelf liquors.
There are six members in the group. Carolyn Davis is the lead singer, keyboardist and guitar player. Manny Hedgemann is a percussionist, vocalist and keyboard player. John Raven is on keyboards, guitar and a very smooth vocalist. Bruce Bass is the awesome lead guitarist, Hugh Wilkins plays the bass guitar and Peter Bonagiano is the drummer. All six have many years of experience playing, singing and just having fun. Each band member is a true professional.
Their music is truly nostalgic and you will hear some of the great memories of an earlier era! My favorite from Gladys Knight and the Pips, “Midnight Train To Georgia” is performed in a way that will make you smile. . Here’s some others……The Fifth Dimensions “Wedding Bell Blues,” “Moon Dance” by Van Morrison and too many more to mention here. If you have a favorite tune from the 60’s. 70’s or 80’s, you can be sure that The Main Street Station Band can sing or play your song.
Carolyn Davis and the gents of “The Main Street Station Band” had a truly unforgettable performance last night. They play all over the Gulf Coast area. For more about The Main Street Station Band or for booking information, visit their website.
