On Friday, April 12 at 8 p.m., Fogartyville will be alive with the enchanting melodies of acoustic ukulele trio, The Birdwatchers. Hailing from Utah, this talented group combines tight, three-part harmonies with a unique ensemble of tenor, baritone, and bass ukuleles, alongside guitar, creating a rich and captivating sound.

The Birdwatchers’ repertoire is a delightful mix of classics from a bygone era, modern and charming numbers, and their own unusual original tunes. Their performance promises to transport audiences to a world of nostalgic bliss and toe-tapping joy.

Joining The Birdwatchers is the talented “FUNsician” Kirk Jones from Alabama, who will bring his own spirited take on ukulele playing to the stage. Additionally, country rock duo Vincent and Norine Mungo from Tampa will add their unique flair to the evening’s lineup.

Ukulele Workshops

For ukulele enthusiasts, both beginners and experienced players alike, there will be workshops earlier in the day. Kirk Jones will lead a workshop at 2 p.m., followed by The Birdwatchers at 3 p.m. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from these skilled musicians and enhance your ukulele playing skills.

  • Tickets: $22 for WSLR+Fogartyville members, $26 for non-members, and $13 for students (13+).
