🎤 About Colleen Orender

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Colleen Orender began her musical journey singing with her grandfather’s country band at just five years old. Since then, she’s carved out a rich career in roots, blues, and jazz, touring extensively across the U.S. and Europe. After relocating to Nashville, she collaborated with renowned producer Michael Davey to create a fresh and sultry sound. Critics and fans alike compare her to Amy Winehouse and Julie London, with songs that echo smoky lounges, steamy bayous, and timeless torch singers.

Orender’s latest album, The Company of Older Men, showcases her unique voice and has received glowing praise from outlets like American Songwriter, Guitar Girl Magazine, and Nashville Scene. Her music is a mix of vintage soul, jazz, blues, and a touch of country—an intoxicating blend she calls “Grits Soul.”
