Shayna Steele Performs Soul, Jazz, Blues at Fogartyville
Dynamic vocalist and songwriter Shayna Steele, whose effortless execution of both soul and jazz has grabbed the attention of audiences globally, will perform at Fogartyville on Tuesday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Steele’s musical career began in New York theater – including “Rent,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” and “Hairspray” – and continued to studios providing background vocals for Bette Midler, Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson. Since then she has performed at major jazz festivals and with symphonies around the world.
On the Fogartyville stage Steele will share songs from her brand new album, “Gold Dust,” which infuses soul, jazz and blues.
Tickets for the May 9 show are $26 for members, $30 for not-yet-members, and $15 for students.
Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center is located at 525 Kumquat Court. Audiences should enter the performance space from the alleyway.
