Pistols & Pearls to Perform at Nicky’s on Palm in Sarasota

Former traveling Marvelette Brenda Watty is no newcomer to the Sarasota music scene.  However, Teresa Farris, hailing recently from Nashville, is a fresh new voice added to the wealth of talent in this community.  Teresa has performed as a back up singer with Dolly Parton, along with other famous Nashville artists.  In addition, she has opened for many nationally known artists, performed in her own shows, written numerous songs, produced CD’s along with videos that showcase her songwriting and performing talents.  This team of Watty and Farris was bound to achieve notoriety in a community that loves it’s music.

Pistols and Pearls was originally Teresa’s concept, with an all girl jam the result.  Numbers of exciting local singers joined Teresa on stage, and that’s of course where she and Brenda met.  The combination of Teresa and Brenda’s talent and energy has propelled the concept to the forefront.

Backed by a six piece professional band, Watty and Farris have continued to make strides and book venues throughout the Florida west coast.  The band performed at Nicky’s on New Year’s Eve, and since then those who joined the listening and dancing event have been asking when they will return.  Since space is limited (Nicky’s is an intimate venue with select seating) reservations are again a must for this event.  There will be special guests as well.  Pistols and Pearls will perform Saturday night, March 25, from 6:30 to 9:30 with a special planned “Dinner & A Show”.  Reservations at 941-330-1727.
