Mattison’s offers brunch daily with a special live Blues Brunch every 4th Sunday of the month. This month features Memphis Rub. Brunch is served from open – 4pm. Music is from 11:00-2 pm.
As stated on the Realize Bradenton Blues Fest website, Memphis Rub gives a “A high energy show that has dynamic vocals, soaring guitar, and a tight rhythm section. The band is a 4-piece band from Florida’s Suncoast area, performing a blend of blues and rock with a bit of R&B and funk mixed in. The Memphis Rub Band highlights vocals reminiscent of James/Otis, soulful blues guitar, solid drumming and dynamic piano and organ.
The band’s line up covers all the instruments needed for an authentic blues band. “Barefoot” Dan Ryan plays the keys, Jay “Jayson” Moss on the drums, Gary Drouin is known as “Guitar Gary” and Scott Matzke’s unique bass style and soulful vocals bring a tasty BAM to the Memphis Rub mix! In addition to hosting authentic blues, Mattison’s offers a Brunch Menu guaranteed to make your Sunday Brunch experience complete. Choices of brunch items include Stuffed French Toast with Cinnamon Whipped Cream, Steak and Eggs Bowl, Mediterranean Frittata, Smokehouse Omelet, Shakshuka, and a Farmhouse Flatbread.
