Madison Hughes Brings Americana-Country Storytelling to Fogartyville on Valentine’s Day
Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center will celebrate Valentine’s Day with an intimate evening of Americana and country music as Madison Hughes takes the stage on Saturday, February 14, at 8 p.m. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter will be joined by special guest Sara Stovall, fiddler for Fogartyville favorites Passerine, adding a rich, roots-driven layer to the evening’s sound.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Hughes has built a career by comfortably living in the space between genres. Her musical journey has included high-profile television performances, viral cover songs, and years of honing her craft as both a powerful vocalist and a thoughtful songwriter. Many first discovered Hughes during her run on The Voice, where her soulful delivery and emotional range earned her a national following.
Since relocating to Nashville, Hughes has continued to refine a sound that blends Americana, blues, indie folk, and contemporary country. Her debut album, All That I Am, showcases not only the voice that captivated TV audiences, but also her ability to write songs that feel personal, honest, and deeply rooted in storytelling. The record reflects a modern Americana sensibility—songs shaped by traditional influences but delivered with a fresh, current edge.
Joining Hughes for the Valentine’s Day performance is Sara Stovall, whose expressive fiddle work with Passerine has made her a familiar and beloved presence on the Fogartyville stage. Together, Hughes and Stovall promise a performance that balances heartfelt songwriting with dynamic musicianship, making the show an ideal choice for music lovers looking for a meaningful alternative to the typical Valentine’s night out.
The concert takes place at Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center, located at 525 Kumquat Court in Sarasota. Audience members should enter the performance space from the alleyway.
