King Margo to Perform at Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center in Sarasota on January 18
Nashville-based alt-country and Americana duo King Margo is set to perform at the Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center on Saturday, January 18, at 8 p.m. The duo comprises Lucciana Costa and Rachel Coats, who, despite growing up just 40 minutes apart in the Midwest, met for the first time years later in a Kentucky field. Their music blends personal storytelling with intricate harmonies, as showcased in their latest album, Waters Rise, released in September 2022.
Opening the show is Lesa Silvermore, a high-energy singer-songwriter from Southwest Florida known for her fusion of indie rock, blues, punk, folk, and classic rock. Silvermore has built a fanbase through both intimate solo-acoustic sets and powerful full-band performances.
Tickets for the event are priced at $20 for WSLR+Fogartyville members, $24 for non-members, and $12 for students aged 13 and above. Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center, located at 525 Kumquat Court in Sarasota, serves as a gathering place where art, culture, music, and politics intentionally collide to inspire social change.
