Kettle of Fish First Ever Appearance at the Flying Dog Cafe
I love live music. I love great live music. Last night at the new Flying Dog Café, I heard great live music. Kettle of Fish made their first ever appearance at the “Dog.” Oh, what a phenomenal show. Lead singer, Dana Lawrence also played guitar with Greg Poulos on lead guitar, Todd Cook on bass and Gavin Michaels on drums.
I can describe Greg Poulos guitar playing as “magical.” The full house crowd was awe struck last night. Greg makes magic with his guitar! Dana was his usual smooth self with a singing style that is just so unique. It was great to see Todd Cook in rare form last night playing bass guitar. He was on top of his game. It was the first time I heard Gavin Michaels play the drums. Congrats, Gavin on a great show.
The new Flying Dog Café is awesome. Owner, Bruce Famiglio has created a great new live music venue with one of the best sound systems in our area. It’s the new “in place” for live music in our town.
Oh, if you’re hungry or thirsty, there is a great new menu featuring, some of the best sandwiches, salads, wraps, soup and chili. But, the biggest change to the Dog is there new “Pizza Menu” and full liquor bar. I had the Tuscan Chicken Flat Bread Pizza last night. It was fabulous.
It was a tremendous night, great food, fabulous music and most of all, it was great to see so many old friends and I met lots of new ones. Thanks to my pals Marsha Summers and Julie Dugas for making it a perfect evening with so many laughs!
