If there is such a thing as a “Boy Crush,” I have one. It’s all about Dana Lawrence and the “coop band,” Kettle of Fish. These guys just keep getting better & better. Last night they put on a special performance at CA’ D’ Zan on the grounds of the Ringling property.
The weather, while threatening held off! The boys had a back drop of the Sarasota Bay and the City of Sarasota. It doesn’t get any better than this. And the crowd….some folks were dressed to the nine’s and others wore a more traditional Florida summer night get up! For 10 bucks you could not have asked for much more. Well over 2 hours of one of the best bands in our area, good food and drink and some really nice folks.
There was a real camaraderie in the crowd last night. I met so many nice people, most of them big fans of “the boys!” I try to catch these fabulous musicians a couple of times a month. Each time, the sound is totally different, but each time absolutely fabulous.
You can see their entire performance schedule on their website, www.kettleoffish.net. The site is hot and the boys are hot……hot enough for a boy to have a “Boy Crush!”
Last Night’s Players…..Dana Lawrence, Greg Poulos, Jeremey Egglefield, Todd Cook, Garret Dawson, & Thorson Moore
