Hurricane Irma has devastated some Local Musicians

| Sande Caplin |

While Irma was gentle to many, it was not for two local musicians. Lisa Larkin of “Seven Years Past” had a tree fall on her house and Ray Williams of “Reverend Barry’s Funktastic Soul” lost his house completely!

On Sunday, October 8, 2017 there will be a benefit at the Sarasota Sky Bar starting at 1pm. All money raised will help with storm related repairs for Lisa and Ray. As we all know Hurricane Irma caused havoc in our area. Five of the best local bands in our area will be performing.

Music Schedule:
Seven Years Past- 1-1:45
Kettle of Fish- 2:15-3:00
Twinkle and Rock Soul Radio- 3:30-4:15
Reverend Barry’s Funktastic Soul- 4:45-5:30

The event will continue with Berry Oakley’s Sensational Sunday Blues Service from 6-10pm.

There will be a 50/50 drawing with signed music gear for auction.

Tickets are $10.00. All proceeds will benefit Lisa and Ray. For more information: https://www.facebook.com/events/363974127369930/
