Happy Birthday, Rebecca Bird

Yes, today is Rebecca Bird’s Birthday!  But, it was actually celebrated yesterday at the fabulous Swordfish Grill and Tiki in Cortez.  Steve Arvey and a fabulous group of talented musicians put on quite a show.  Of course, Rebecca was the lead singer for her great day.

The players….Steve Arvey, Rebecca Bird, Rick Fass,  Otis T. Sugarbear, Chris Dallenbach and Pamela Jefferies put on quite a show.  Needless to say, the Swordfish was packed and there were many recognizable faces in the crowd which included the Florida Blues Brothers, Jimmy Lally, Karen Klarich, Twinkle, Tony LeClerc, Sudie Brattli, Henry Lawrence and too many more to mention…sorry if I forgot you!

The hospitality at the Swordfish Grill is second to none.  Manager, Tara Mayes is the best of the best.  Sorry we missed you, “GM” Bob Slicker, but don’t worry the place ran perfect!  Your staff did a fabulous job.

Rebecca had an awesome time.  You could tell by the smile that never left her face.  A great time was had by all.

Rebecca Bird will be performing on 9/11 for Ladies Sing The Blues to benefit the Suncoast Blood Bank.  Please support this great event and very important charity.  The event will be held at the Swordfish Grill & Tiki.  Tickets can be purchased at the Swordfish, or “on line” at www.scbb.org.
